BDO Global Lab, 8 October 2026: a new Arena of Solare season in English
Global Lab's 8 October patch raises the listed Combat EXP of every Event Horizon monster by about 25%. It also halves the number of Lost Items that appear after Ivedor, doubles the loot each one drops and cuts their EXP. The rest of the patch sets up a new Arena of Solare season, with bigger end of season rewards, a 2,500 Family Fame gate on ranked matches and a new battlefield. Nova Succession gets faster combos and more PvE damage, and Woosa's Flow: Stormbolt is made easier to chain. Last time, our 2 October recap covered level 75 and the Combat EXP revamp.
The notice is mostly Korean. Pearl Abyss embedded official English for the introductions to the Nova and Woosa changes, the Arena of Solare season, the Fame requirement, voice chat, matchmaking, the old Serendia quests and Marni's Combat Statistics. Everything else, including every table below, is translated here.

Ivedor and the Lost Items
Ivedor now has to get much closer to the first wormhole before it appears. The notice puts the new trigger distance at about 0.3 times the old one. The alert message that Ivedor's conditions are met now reaches further.
After Ivedor dies, the Lost Item of Spacetime gimmick changes:
| Change | Detail |
|---|---|
| Lost Items that appear | 0.5 times as many |
| Loot | Twice the drop chance or twice the quantity |
| Agris consumed per Lost Item | Set to 36 |
| Combat EXP per Lost Item | 0.63 times the table value |
| Loot scatter | Drop range adjusted |
Spawns
The Despair-Consumed Edana in Last Orbit, Guidance of Accretion and Journey to the End spawn in new places. The total count is about the same, with more in each pack. Edana no longer spawn standing on top of the terrain. Frame drops when the zone resets are reduced.
Arena of Solare: the new season
Pearl Abyss's English sets out the plan. The new regular season brings fairer matchmaking, a Fame requirement for ranked play, better end of season rewards, a new battlefield and voice chat that connects you automatically.
| Region | Season runs |
|---|---|
| Korea | After the 14 October 2026 maintenance to before the 9 December 2026 maintenance |
| Global | After the 15 October 2026 maintenance to before the 10 December 2026 maintenance |
| Mode | Hours |
|---|---|
| Ranked, Monday to Friday | 17:00 to 25:00 |
| Ranked, Saturday and Sunday | 13:00 to 25:00 |
| Practice, every day | 10:00 to 25:00 |
When ranked and practice run at the same time, you pick one.
Starting score
Each player's starting rank is set by the rank they reached last season. All Arena of Solare gear and crystals are unequipped.
| Last season | Starts at |
|---|---|
| Solare to Radiant Spear (2,101 or more) | Skilled Soldier I (801) |
| Spear of Dawn (1,801 to 2,100) | Apprentice Soldier IV (701) |
| Shining Spear (1,501 to 1,800) | Apprentice Soldier III (601) |
| Spear of Sunset (1,201 to 1,500) | Apprentice Soldier II (501) |
| Skilled Soldier (801 to 1,200) | Apprentice Soldier I (401) |
| Apprentice to Novice Soldier (800 or less) | Apprentice Soldier I (401) |
| No ranked record | Apprentice Soldier I (401) |
Shining Spear and Radiant Spear are Pearl Abyss's English. The other rank names are literal.
Battlefields
Gavinya Coastal Cliff joins the rotation and Yoru's Fang leaves it, for six battlefields in total.

| Battlefield |
|---|
| Olun's Valley |
| Kelmorn Wilds |
| Gyfin Rhasia Temple (surface) |
| Neftak Outpost |
| Dark Followers' Lair |
| Gavinya Coastal Cliff (new) |
The main weapon crystal for Arena of Solare gear changes:
| Crystal | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Sikrua's Wave Crystal | Adventurer extra AP +1, Max HP +250 | Adventurer extra AP +3, Max HP +250, Max Stamina +100 |
Ranked needs 2,500 Family Fame
Ranked matches now need 2,500 Family Fame or more. Pearl Abyss's English says the bar is set where main quests and some ADV Support content will take a new player. Practice and custom matches have no Fame requirement and are open to any character at level 60 or above. Family Fame shows in the Profile (P) window.
Voice chat and matchmaking
Entering Arena of Solare now puts you in the Solare voice channel. Listen turns on and Speak turns off every time you enter. Either can be switched off. The voice panel sits at the top right, and the team panels on either side of the screen bring it back.
Matchmaking gets four changes:
- The way the search widens to nearby scores as you wait is reworked.
- High score bands get closer matches.
- A rule that sometimes limited players below a score to opponents below that score is removed.
- Matchmaking now recovers after someone declines a match.
End of season rewards
| Final rank | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Solare | 7 Gold Bar 10,000G, 2,000 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 1 Immortal perfume (10) choice box, 30 Lightning Trace | 10 Gold Bar 10,000G, 3,000 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 5 each of the three Immortal items, 30 Lightning Trace |
| Radiant Spear | 5 Gold Bar 10,000G, 1,000 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 10 Immortal perfume (10) choice boxes, 15 Lightning Trace | 7 Gold Bar 10,000G, 2,000 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 5 each of the three Immortal items, 15 Lightning Trace |
| Spear of Dawn | 4 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 10 Immortal perfume (10) choice boxes, 10 Lightning Trace | 5 Gold Bar 10,000G, 1,000 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 5 each of the three Immortal items, 10 Lightning Trace |
| Shining Spear | 3 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Solare's Token, 1 Immortal perfume (5) choice box | 4 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Cron Stones, 500 Solare's Token, 3 each of the three Immortal items |
| Spear of Sunset | 2 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Solare's Token, 1 Immortal perfume (5) choice box | 3 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Solare's Token, 3 each of the three Immortal items |
| Skilled Soldier | 1 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Solare's Token | 2 Gold Bar 10,000G, 500 Solare's Token |
| Apprentice Soldier | 5 Gold Bar 1,000G, 250 Solare's Token | 1 Gold Bar 10,000G, 250 Solare's Token |
The three Immortal items are Immortal: Perfume of Envy, Immortal: Perfume of Tenacity and an Immortal Harmony Draught for Humans. The two perfume names are the in-game English. The draught, Solare's Token and Lightning Trace are literal names.
The top 100 box (literally Honorable Solare Box) swaps two perfumes and adds one item:
| Contents | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Cron Stone | 1,000 | 1,000 |
| Perfume of Courage | 30 | none |
| Perfume of Deep Sea | 30 | none |
| Perfume of Envy | none | 30 |
| Perfume of Tenacity | none | 30 |
| Perfume of Khalk | 30 | 30 |
| Perfume of Charm | 30 | 30 |
| Perfume of Insight | 30 | 30 |
| [Party] Harmony Draught - Human | 30 | 30 |
| Corrupt Oil of Immortality | 20 | 20 |
| Footprints of the Sturdy Forest (literal) | none | 20 |
| Item drop rate scroll (literal) | 30 | 30 |
Inactivity penalty
Ranks above 1,800 points now lose points when you stop playing ranked. A play day runs from 17:00 to 01:00 the next day on weekdays, and the check runs at the 02:00 ranking tally.
| Rank | Starts after | Loss |
|---|---|---|
| Solare (2,401 or more) | 2 days without a match, then every day | 50 points |
| Radiant Spear (2,101 to 2,400) | 2 days without a match, then every day | 40 points |
| Spear of Dawn (1,801 to 2,100) | 3 days without a match, then every 2 days | 30 points |
The notice's example: a Solare player whose last ranked match ends on Monday evening loses points at the Wednesday tally, which falls at 02:00 on Thursday.
Nova
Pearl Abyss's English explains the aim. Wide-area skills that lean less on summons hit harder, clunky links between skills are smoothed, and some skills are faster so a combo fits in one rotation. Prime: Distorted Guard, the "3 min Buff", gets an effect that matters in PvE.
| Skill | Change |
|---|---|
| Frozen Land | Cooldown 11 to 10 seconds. 6308% x5, PvP 26.82% becomes 7132% x5, PvP 23.72% |
| Empress's Punishment | Cooldown 11 to 10 seconds. 7419% x1 up to 4 hits becomes 8308% x1 up to 4 hits. Final hit 5582% x2 becomes 8308% x2. PvP 33.99% becomes 30.35%, final hit PvP 38.96% becomes 26.18% |
| Kratum's Land | 6849% x2, PvP 34.68% becomes 7031% x2, PvP 32.85% |
| Rushing Morning Star | Cooldown 11 to 10 seconds. Spin 1724% x1 up to 6 hits becomes 1877%. Final hit 12871% x2 becomes 14013% x2. Spin PvP 25.66% becomes 23.57%, final hit PvP 21.27% becomes 19.54% |
| Prime: Distorted Guard | Now also gives +20% Casting Speed for 30 seconds |
Empress's Punishment's third, fourth and final hits land sooner. Rushing Morning Star's spin hits land sooner too.

Three combos are smoothed. Prime: Ice Spike's third hit now links into Prime: Fierce Command's second hit and into Empress's Punishment. Prime: Fierce Command's second hit links into Facing Darkness. Prime: Seongneung (romanised, with no clear translation) links into Rushing Morning Star as fast as Ice Fog does.
Woosa
Pearl Abyss's English says the recent fix that stopped Prime: Quiet Waters' and Prime: Cloudrise's Storm Clouds overlapping broke Flow: Stormbolt when the cloud had just gone. Rather than make players track the cloud's timer, the skill changes:
- Flow: Stormbolt can follow at any point until Prime: Cloudrise's Storm Cloud disappears.
- Its knockdown now applies on the first hit only.
- It hits earlier, in step with its effect.
- Its down attack now works.
- Prime: Whirlwind links smoothly into it while a Prime: Cloudrise cloud is up.
A bug that triggered the Storm Cloud effect when moving from Prime: Power Vessel into three follow-up skills is fixed.
Guild Fame permission
A new guild permission, Use Guild Fame, protects the Fame the whole guild has built. It does nothing alone. Each way of spending Fame needs it plus a second permission:
| Spending Fame on | Needs |
|---|---|
| Guild skills that cost Fame | Use Guild Fame, and learn and use guild skills |
| Guild boss summon recharges, including Gumiho and Dueoksini | Use Guild Fame, and boss summon |
| Declaring war | Use Guild Fame, and declare or withdraw war |

Deputy and Secretary ranks could not summon Gumiho and Dueoksini. That is fixed.
Marni's Combat Statistics
Marni's Combat Statistics shows per-class results across PvP content, under Menu (ESC) then Game Info. Pearl Abyss's English notes that the figures are averages and show trends, not a class's absolute strength.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Content covered | Arena of Solare (ranked only), Red Battlefield, Node War capture mode, Node War build mode, Conquest War, Guild League |
| Classes counted | Succession, Awakening or Ascension only |
| Refresh | Once a day, at 03:00 KST. NA and EU refresh at 09:00 KST |
| Grouping | By week, with up to one year kept |
| At launch | Shows the previous week |

Smaller changes
The Node War and Conquest War detail view renames two columns to Kills and Deaths and changes seven icons. The skill category filter adds HP recovery and skill resource recovery. The Profile (P) window explains how EXP works by level, and its icon opens the Adventurer's Notes (F2).
Old Serendia main quests that can no longer be accepted are deleted. Characters partway through one restart from the first quest of "[Serendia] Golden Lion of Serendia".
The Halloween adventure log (event log volume 1) is removed. Unclaimed rewards arrive at the 14 October maintenance in Korea and the 15 October maintenance everywhere else.
The Throne of Edana boss at Zephyros Castle loses every crowd control except knockdown and bound. Agris Fever changes from the 2 September update had not taken effect on Global Lab, and now do. The minimap's game time tooltip now says item drop chance rises at night. Hunting matchlocks fired from horseback now lose durability.
What this changes for tracking
At Magaia Temple, monsters that spawn after the "judgement" message dropped no loot. That is fixed on Global Lab. Our Magaia Temple figures come from official servers, so we will re-read them once the fix ships.
Event Horizon has no measured silver per hour on the site yet and no logged sessions, so nothing we publish goes stale. Half as many Lost Items with twice the loot each should leave the gimmick's total loot about where it was. The change to watch is the Agris cost of 36 per Lost Item, which we will measure once it reaches official servers.
Apart from Event Horizon, the Magaia Temple fix and the Agris Fever fix, no drop rates change. The silver per hour figures in our grind spot data stand.
